Feedback:Sales/Marketing/Training Resources for VARs

Diwali Greetings !

The Microsoft Small Business Strategy team is currently looking to build out additional resources and training to help VARs sell and market more effectively to Small Business customers.  The Senior Audience stakeholder and SBSC would greatly appreciate your deeper insight into a few preliminary questions that may influence and impact scope of resources built.  Please provide your responses directly to me either in the comments section below the blog entry or by sending me email to sramani@techgyan.com

Questions:
1.    What types of materials (i.e. brochures, discussion guides, training, etc.) would you like to see from Microsoft to help you sell/market to your small business customers?
2.    What training topics (i.e. objection handling, competitive analysis, SB pain points, product) would you like to see from Microsoft to help you sell/market to your small business customers?
3.    What format of training do you prefer (webcast, online self-guided, in-person, etc)?
4.    Do you have an example(s) of training or resources that you think are particularly helpful in supporting your Small Business sales/marketing activities?
5.    Do you have an example(s) of a sales strategy that you have used with Small Business customers that has worked particularly well?
6.    What do you think the "maturity model" or product/services roadmap is for most small business customers – i.e. what products/services do you lead with, and then how do you add onto those products/services over time as the customer matures?  (this is to help identify partners who have distinctly differentiated themselves through successful sales strategy, looking toward best practice examples).

Thank you for your time and thoughtfulness in providing your feedback.  Again, please provide all responses by November 4th, EOD
with warm regards
