2008 Customer Campaigns

Greetings !

As a Microsoft Partner, one effective way of increasing sales is by selling a complete Solution to Customers. And we all know that Microsoft has a rich library of marketing material which can serve as ammunition in our battle for business.

The topic for today is forthcoming Worldwide Customer Campaigns from Microsoft ! As per research conducted by Microsoft , in the year 2008, the SMB IT spending and priorities will be in the following areas:

Security

Storage, Backup and Recovery

Productivity & Collaboration

Mobility

Database

Line of Business Applications

CRM

Rich Web Experiences

 

Keeping the above in mind, Microsoft will soon launch Worldwide Campaigns in 4 areas:

     

1)    The Security and Reliability Campaign highlights Microsoft solutions that help SMBs create a reliable IT infrastructure, protect their business information, and prevent data from getting lost. Microsoft and its partners are uniquely able to deliver this easy-to-use, more secure, more reliable IT infrastructure. It helps customers to stay productive, worry-free, and able to focus on their business.

2)    The Business Productivity Campaign highlights Microsoft solutions that help SMBs maximize productivity and connectivity, in and out of the office—saving time, reducing resource inefficiency, and maintaining a competitive advantage. Microsoft and its partners are uniquely able to deliver this easy-to-use, productivity and collaboration solution. It helps customers to stay productive, worry-free, and able to focus on their business.

3)    The Customer Acquisition and Retention Campaign highlights Microsoft solutions that help SMBs find, win, and retain customers. Microsoft and its partners are uniquely able to deliver these easy-to-use, familiar solutions that improve efficiency and productivity in the areas of sales, marketing, and customer service.

4)    The Business Solutions Campaign highlights Microsoft solutions that help SMBs gain insight into everyday business processes in order to make better decisions. Microsoft and its partners are uniquely able to deliver easy-to-use, familiar line of business (LOB) solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and process management across the organization, helping SMB customers to focus on business growth.

 

 

As Microsoft Partners , we need to align our Marketing efforts with that of Microsoft to achieve optimum results. I suggest that each one of you identify at least one campaign and focus on it either alone or by Partnering with other partners such that you can offer a complete solution to the end Customers!

I am in process of making a Database of partners with primary  area of expertise. I request you to send me your area of expertise. In this way, once the database has fair number of entries, it could be used to help you in partnering with others to offer the  right sized Solution to your Customer.
